How to overcome your video fears

  • Get in there and try it - you will get better!

  • Record your facebook live videos with someone else it helps you to be confident and give you focus. 
  • Film your videos live with clients and colleagues - keep it positive! 

Focus on your passions

  • You know your stuff - you can gain more confidence by talking about your passions in your business what you love doing. 
  • Use some tools to edit your videos and highlight your brand and your passion
  • Use a conversational style - but have pointers for discussion while live

What Video Equipment do you need?

  • You can create awesome and real content with your phone - iPhones and Samsung phones have excellent video and sound quality
  • Have good lighting when you film
  • Use Zoom to record your videos with your computer's webcam
  • Make sure the room has sound "softeners" - empty rooms without carpet can create an echo
  • Background noise like traffic, machinery in the background can impact on sound quality

  • Entertaining, excitement - use pumped up tone of voice to introduce a "fun" approach
  • Serious, and calm - to present with a caring and value-packed content
  • Personal approach - story-telling - add a face to the brand - conversational style, to keep connecting with people on a personal level. Personal posts on Facebook get placed higher in the news feed. Facebook loves to take your money from business page and getting the posts up in ads. But Personal interactions with the platform is "high visibility"

  • Force yourself to go live - there is no time like the present
  • Question of the day - to address topics for 60 seconds - helps you to relax and have something to talk about in that video session - create three tips around these questions
